Fireflies. The First Single by Kenneth Scott Peters from his New Album. Real songs travel person to person. Pay what you want — or grab it free and pass it along.
The world is full of distraction. Endless scrolling. Synthetic connection. Every day feels louder, angrier, more chaotic than the day before. So we pull back. Heads down. Headphones in. Screens lighting up our faces while the real light around us goes unnoticed. We’re not sure how to feel. We’re not sure what is real.
So I wrote a song.
Fireflies is about choosing joy. Choosing what’s real. Resisting complacency or the pressure to live in a constant state of outrage. It’s about building a life around what actually matters. The people. The moments. The unexplored back roads. The late-night drives with the windows down and the music cranked up.
Fireflies is an anthem for you and me.
We believe music should make us feel something. It should bring us together. It can still break through the artificial and remind us we’re part of something bigger.
So let’s not be afraid of the dark. Let’s let our life shine as bright as we damn well please. Because even the smallest lights—like fireflies flickering through the night—can cut through the dark and remind us what it feels like to be fully, undeniably alive.
This is your invitation to come sing along with me.
